Join me as I drive the Whispering Hills neighborhood:
Whispering Hills consist of 520 parcels, a mixture of single-family detached homes and 93 townhomes. The lot sizes vary between 0.23 acres up to 1.23 acres but only four of these lots are one or more acres. The average lot size is around a quarter of an acre.
They started building in this subdivision in 1989 and built through 2019. The majority of the homes though were built in the 90s and the early 2000s. The homes up on the hill have the best view of the mountains that surround our town of Smithsburg. The neighborhood consists of a mixture of ranchers, colonials, split levels, split four years and of course the townhomes.
The roads are nice and wide for extra parking. And although you can't see it in this video the common area of this subdivision does have a playground. The average price is in the mid 200's with $369,900 the most expensive home in the neighborhood and it sold in 2005.
Many of these homes have garages and they have sidewalks for walking paths, you could even walk to town
